North East Property Buyers

Acorn Media have supplied North East Property Buyers (NEPB) with IT services since 2005 and have built up and maintained their IT systems from the company’s infancy. When North East Property Buyers and Lettings approached us to design their website they required us to create two websites to illustrate and advertise both sides of their business lettings and buying. The lettings side required a searchable rental property database designed with a custom content management system to update their online property database. NEPB required us to create a clean, fresh and professional website theme which could be tailored to distinguish the two sides of the company without looking completely separate. Another important requirement was to tie in the specific new build developments and the properties associated with it to enable the visitors to see at a glance the available rental properties.

How we met the project goals

After many discussions with our client regarding the website requirements, we created a range of designs which included all of the features they required. They decided on a more graphically rich design which we both decided suited the image they were trying to portray. We designed a splash page to collate the Buyer's and Letting's website traffic which directs the visitors easily to the relevant website.

Developing the website

Working closely with them we developed the website to be just the way it was proposed in the designs. We also suggested improvements as the work went along which were very much appreciated by NEPB. They were particularly impressed with the ability to print out the property information in a window card format directly from there website and the ease in updating information.
